Colapesce

Legend has it, in the Mediterranean sea, of a creature not human and nor fish. Not a mermaid but a fishperson. Cola was his name as a boy, he loved to swim and never left the sea. His mother was a witch and desperately cursed him: Cola, cola, so much you like to swim, a fish you shall become. Colapesce never left the water again. Legend has it that, swimming under Sicily, he realized that the island was standing on 3 columns. One of them was hole, one was broken and one was cracking. He worried for the island and replaced the broken column. Legend has it Colapesce still holds Sicily on his shoulders... a legend though... but even so... why can't Colapesce be a girl?
